To use any of the free blogger layouts below, download the template to your computer and then install the template using the instructions given here. Click on each image shown for a larger view.

I would highly recommend one of the top 3 custom header templates for a site you wish to monetize with ads. The white background makes affiliate ads blend in seamlessly, as you can see in the screen shots below. Also the design is clean yet provides great navigation. You will need to replace the header with your own custom header that features your own logo (or no logo at all). To replace this header, publish your blog and then right click on the header and save it to your computer and edit it, as shown in Steps 1-3 of this tutorial. After you change your header, upload it to Photobucket or wherever your Blogger images are hosted and replace your current Header.jpg file with the new one – you do not need to edit the xml file.
